Who is this qualification for?
This course is designed for anyone who wants to become a qualified workplace first-aider. It meets the requirements for organisations that have identified the need for staff trained to this level through their first-aid needs assessment.
Course Duration
Learners should expect around 22 hours of training, usually delivered over three days, with a minimum of 18 hours face-to-face instruction.

Recognition of common signs and symptoms of injury and illness

Practical first aid skills including CPR and the safe use of an AED

How to assist casualties with serious conditions such as chest or spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, and correct use of auto-injectors
